Description
Christo and Jeanne-Claude are among the artists who inspire me the most. Their independence, their ability to transform public spaces to invite everyone to see their environment in a new light, and their unique funding model have always had a profound impact on the way I create.
The Pont Neuf Wrapped, at the heart of the city where I grew up, introduced me to their work, even though I am too young to have experienced it firsthand. For the 40th anniversary of this extraordinary project, I want to pay tribute to them with this lithograph, each variation of which is unique. This is the first time I am releasing an image of an unrealized project—a wild dream of intervening on the Pont Neuf once again, in my own way…
